Merry Christmas!

Hello, dear reader!

I hope you’re having a wonderful Christmas. I know I am. At my grandparents house, we eat supper, open presents, and enjoy each other’s company.

I love the traditions we share at my household: decorating the tree, stringing the lights, sharing a meal, and celebrating Jesus’ birthday.

I have so much to be thankful for this year: bountiful gifts, a strong family who loves me and each other so much.

Giving back at a charity event art Target this year made me feel happy to share in helping children wrap presents for either themselves or someone else, like a family member. I was reminded that not everyone has as many gifts under the tree, and that this event helped these special kids have an opportunity to show their love for others (or themselves).

This Christmas, I want to give back, even if it means working a little longer at the cash register to bring people joy.

As Tiny Tim says in A Christmas Carol, “God bless us, every one.” I wish you all a safe, memorable Christmas/holiday with friends, family, and co-workers.

With love,

Meghan B.

Hello there! I'm Meghan. Thanks for checking out my blog!

Although I'm almost 30, I haven't lost my sense of child-like wonder for the world around me. I've been making up stories my whole life: My imaginative play with toys as a child has grown up with me, maturing into my imaginative wordplay with fantasy and sci-fi novels, as well as free-verse poetry. I thrive on creating something with my hands and with my mind, using my pen or my keyboard.

When I'm not working, I'm reading, writing, or knitting, I'm sleeping. I also enjoy watching Netflix, occasionally playing open-world video games, or hanging out with my family, my two golden girl retrievers Bentley and Charlie, my friends, or my boyfriend Rory.

Happy blogging!
