Here are three things I’m grateful for in my life right now:
- my amazing family
- my good friends & my boyfriend
- my sweet Golden-girl Retrievers Bentley & Charlie
My family has helped pump me up when I’m down, has encouraged me to be myself & believed in my writing skills & my passion for books since I was a little girl.
My close friends & my boyfriend are a great source of entertainment. We’re all on the same page, & I’ve recently become closer to my boyfriend’s friends. We support & help each other when difficulties arise, & like to hang out on Discord together.
My dogs love me up & help me stay active. They love to be by our small pack, & keep me busy as well.
What are three things you’re grateful for right now?
But I could do with a few laughs. We could all do with a few laughs.Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, pg. 733
This quote reminds me that no matter what the world throws at us, we can all surround ourselves with things that make us happy and nourish us with the power of laughter.
During this time of fear and uncertainty with the COVID-19 virus, I am reminded of just how important it is to find something that makes you feel good during dark times.
So snuggle in, stay safe, and keep washing your hands.

I’m reading The Heart’s Invisible Furies & it’s so good right now. Only 40 pages in, but I’m enjoying it so much!
The reason I haven’t been posting as frequently as I’d like is due to a bad cold, one that I’ve had since last week. Despite my cold, I’ve been working on a book review and an album review. I’m excited to share both with you guys. Here’s to getting better!
I can’t get “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher” out of my head. It’s such a catchy, fun song! It sounds so cool in a metal version, too.
Just finished reading this lovely book by Brian Malloy, and now I’m kinda bummed about it. I’ll miss Brendan & his interesting life.
Just painted my nails black with a matte finish. A bit came off the edge of my left thumb. I was whistling to Rammstein, and the whistle died in my throat. Haha!
I heard who gets the Iron Throne and now I can’t get it out of my head. Seriously. Now I just want to read the books and forget said spoiler. Kudos to The View for telling me who wins. I won’t spoil it for anyone else.
