Daily Prompt: time

Do you need time?

Good evening, everyone!

I’m currently sitting on my bed, with my Golden Retriever Charlie curled up at my feet.

I am anxious, like everyone right now, about the election. I am hoping & praying for good results.

It’s starting to get dark outside already. It’s not even 8 p.m. Ah, winter. As the Starks say,

As a life long Minnesotan, I’m somewhat used to the idea of snow and ice. But I still need to adjust to it every year, because reasons.

I need time to relax. Time to hang out with my family and dogs. I need time to myself, so that I can read, write, knit. (Or nap, I’m being honest.)

While I am nervous about the election results, I need to remind myself that by voting, I’ve done everything in my personal power. I have to not worry.
